Job Description

Base salary $100,000-$110,000

Join an innovative R&D team where you'll develop new analytical methods and solve challenging problems involving novel organic molecules. This is a highly hands-on role offering the opportunity to work with advanced instrumentation in a collaborative, research-driven environment.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, or a related field
  • Experience analyzing organic or small molecules
  • Hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation such as LC, LC-MS, GC, GC-MS, FTIR, Raman, or mass spectrometry
  • Strong understanding of chromatography, spectroscopy, and separation science
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Industry experience is not required; outstanding PhD graduates, postdocs, and research organization candidates are encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new analytical methods for novel organic molecules
  • Utilize a variety of analytical techniques to characterize materials and solve technical challenges
  • Generate and interpret analytical data to support research and product development
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary R&D teams on innovation projects
  • Develop and implement new laboratory capabilities
  • Write technical reports and analytical test methods
  • Perform hands-on laboratory work including sample preparation and routine lab responsibilities
  • Drive analytical projects from concept through implementation as experience grows
