Our client is an innovative and fast-growing start-up food manufacturer. They currently seek a Plant Engineer to join their state-of-the-art facility in the greater Lafayette area. The ideal candidate will have previous food manufacturing experience, enjoy hands-on work, and be ready to learn and grow with this award-winning company!
Plant Engineer/Chemical Engineer/Food Sciences/Engineering/Food Manufacturing/Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement/Capital Projects/Project Engineer/Mechanical Engineer/Food Engineer/GMP/HACCP/Food Ingredients/Troubleshooting/Production/R&D/Maintenance
As a Plant Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assist in identifying, managing, and implementing site projects
- Identify areas of process optimization
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting
- Be a part of site continuous improvement initiatives
- Utilize data analysis to assess manufacturing activities
Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000 + 8-10% bonus

Job Requirements
As a Plant Engineer job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- BS in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years of hands-on engineering experience out of food manufacturing
- GMP/HACCP experience
- Must have previous continuous improvement experience
- Previous experience working on capital projects
