Job Description
We are working with a leading Printing & Digital Ink development company. They are seeking an experienced plant manager to oversee their full production facility in Fort Mill, SC. Must be U.S. Citizen or Resident. They are requiring experience in the production of a batch process in Inks or coatings. The focus of this role will be to improve existing products, maintain efficiencies, reduce waste, and manage their employees. The role will have 4 direst reports and approximately 80 employees over two shifts. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manages the manufacturing operation of aqueous flexographic, conventional and energy cured lithographic inks and coatings
• Manages the warehouse and distribution
• Leads a team of approximately 80 employees
• Responsible for employee safety, product quality, delivery, and cost for the plant in accordance with documented policy and procedures
• Responsible for the effective planning and financial performance of the plant
• Responsible for collaboration with R&D in the development of new, existing, or enhanced products
• Responsible for interaction with Purchasing in effective procurement of raw materials
• Communicate effectively with customers, other employees and departments.
• Write, review, revise and submit procedures to Corporate Document Control
• Embrace Lean Manufacturing principles and facilitate change using key performance indicators and demonstrate year-over-year improvements
• Ensure compliance to the ISO quality system and GMP requirements
• Verify the implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventative actions

Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Ten (10) years of industry related experience is preferred, five (5) or more years of experience required
• Windows and Microsoft Office proficient
• Experienced and capable of utilizing the ERP system
• An understanding safe work practices in a chemical environment
• Knowledge of 5S and Lean manufacturing principles
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Capable of working flexible hours, overtime when necessary
