Our client is a global producer of specialty chemical products and a world leader in the production of polymers. They currently seek a Plant Manager to help maximize efficiency at their facility in Hattiesburg, MS. 

Plant Manager/Operations Manager/Chemical Engineer/Engineering/Manufacturing/Chemicals/Chemical Manufacturing/Operations/Production Leader/Plant Manager/Production Manager/PSM

As a Plant Manger job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Plan, organize & direct the production operations of the facility
• Work with team leaders to optimize company performance
• Ensure all local, state, federal, and company regulations, policies, and objectives are met
• Identify/resolve safety concerns or issues, including accident/incident reporting, investigation & resolution
• Ensure quality of manufacturing, including cost control

Salary Range: $180,000/year - $185,000/year plus 18% yearly bonus and $1,000/month car allowance

As a Plant Manager job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

• BS in Chemical Engineering
• 15+ years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
• Must have at least 7 years of operations supervision/leadership experience 
• Must have experience in a PSM environment 
• Experience improving plant operations
• Desire to more into a higher-level position
• Knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing methodologies is ideal
