Our client is a leader in specialty chemical manufacturing. Their products are used in many different industries, including consumer goods, coatings, food additives, and others. They currently seek a Plant Manager at their facility near Indianapolis, IN.
As the Plant Manager job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Oversee all operations at the Plant
- Ensure safety and regulatory compliance for all local, federal, and company requirements/standards
- Support the introduction of new processes
- Evaluate and identify opportunities for process optimization and process improvements
- Manage team of direct and indirect reports
- Work cross-functionally with other departments for improvement and cost reduction opportunities
- Foster and promote a positive safety culture

Job Requirements
As the Plant Manager job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- BS in Chemical Engineering
- 10+ years of hands-on process / production engineering experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
- 4+ years of previous supervision preferably in Operations
- Experience in a PSM regulated facility is ideal
