Our client is a global leader in the manufacturing of specialty intermediates used in a variety of industries. With manufacturing facilities across the globe, their products can be found in nearly 100 countries. They currently seek a hands-on, Plant Manager to support one of their facilities near Memphis, TN. This is a great opportunity for a newer plant manager or someone who is ready to be promoted to plant manager. The ideal candidate will be an inspirational leader who has the ability to lead by example.

As the Plant Manager job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Support compliance of all company, local, and state SHE regulations
  • Create and maintain site strategies for business goals
  • Support and lead team to accomplish site production objectives
  • Identify areas of improvement and implement change
  • Lead capital projects and budgets

Salary Range: $160,000/year to $185,000/year plus 20% bonus

Job Requirements

As the Plant Manger job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • BS in Chemical Engineering
  • 7+ years of operations and/or production management experience out of batch chemical plant
  • Must have experience in a leadership role; preferably previous site management but will consider other
  • Previous experience in a PSM-regulated facility is a plus
