Plant Manager/Chemical Engineer/Engineering/Manufacturing/Chemicals

Our client is a manufacturer of specialty chemicals. They are currently hiring a hands-on Plant Manager that would like to grow with the company. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with the ability to gain the respect of other plant personnel and be involved in all aspects of the plant. 

As a Plant Manager job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company environmental, safety and health standards/policies
  • Achieve project or dept. objectives within agreed time, cost, & quality parameters
  • Develop, create, and complete plans and capital projects as needed
  • Coach and develop employees

 

Salary Range: $150,000 to $170,000 + bonus

Job Requirements

As a Plant Manager job requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • BS in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or other Science degree
  • 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, chemicals ideal   
  • Experience managing teams of roughly 50 people
  • Must have experience in a PSM environment 
  • Experience improving plant operations
