Our client is a global manufacturer of specialty chemical products in many different industries. They are in search of an experienced and confident Controls Engineer to join their team just outside of Pittsburgh, PA. The ideal candidate will have the desire to become the Subject Matter Expert for Automation/Controls at this facility.

As a Process Controls Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Troubleshoot controls related issues and provide solutions 
• Maintain process controls systems throughout site 
• Identify and implement technical process improvements
• Develop control initiatives to increase productivity
• Be Subject Matter Expert for Control System Improvement Projects

As a Process Controls Engineer job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

• BS in Chemical Engineering or Controls Engineering
• 2+ years of experience in a PSM-regulated chemical manufacturing environment 
• 2+ years in a dedicated controls engineering position 
• Experience working with Delta V is a plus
