Process Development Engineer/Chemical Engineer/Chemical Manufacturing

As a Process Development Engineer, job responsibilities include the following:

  • Promote safety and adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Investigate new processes at lab scale in support of existing and new product lines
  • Generate energy and material balance data and P&ID’s for new processes
  • Develop capital and operating cost estimates for new process equipment
  • Participate in the implementation of process development projects
  • Participate in Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security programs

As a Process Development Engineer, job requirements consist of:

  • BS/MS in Chemical Engineering
  • 3+ years of total experience working in a chemical manufacturing facility
  • Experience scaling up new products from bench to pilot plant on into full scale manufacturing
  • Inorganic chemistry experience is a plus
  • Must be proficient in the use of general laboratory procedures and instrumentation
