Our client is a global leader in food manufacturing. They currently seek a Process Engineer to join their process development team in the Chicago suburbs. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree and previous experience with protein technologies.

Process Engineer/R&D Engineer/Chemical Engineer/Chemistry/Biochemistry/Food Science/Alternative Protein/PhD/Polit Plant/Engineering/Food Manufacturing/Manufacturing/Scale Up/Research and Development Engineer/

As a Process Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Scale up new processes from lab to full scale manufacturing
• Offer technical knowledge to contribute to process development  
• Conduct process trials to identify areas of optimization
• Be a part of and contribute to the R&D team
• Recognize opportunities for short- and long-term improvement projects

As a Process Engineer job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

• BS in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science, or another relevant degree; Advanced degree MS and/or PhD highly preferred
• 2+ years of experience in process development role out of food manufacturing or similar
• Previous hands-on experience in a pilot plan
• Ability to travel up to 30% internationally
