Our client is a global producer of specialty ingredients and additives for multiple industries. They are looking to add a Process Engineer at their facility just outside of Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting day-to-day operations as well as identifying process improvements.

As a Process Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Support day-to-day operations and troubleshooting in the plant
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and process optimization
• Participate in the improvement of process control systems
• Assist with new product qualifications/implementation
• Adhere to all site safety standards and practices/PSM regulated chemical plant

Salary Range: $115,000/year - $120,000/year

As a Process Engineer job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

• BS in Chemical Engineering, no other degrees will be considered
• At least 1 year of post-graduate chemical experience as a Process/Production Engineer in a chemical manufacturing facility
• Experience with process optimization and continuous improvement
• Experience with OSHA PSM
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing methodologies
