Process Engineer/Chemical Engineer/Mechanical Engineer/Engineering/Manufacturing/Chemicals/Food

Our client is a manufacturer of chemistry-based products used in food, pharmaceuticals, and consumer products. They are expanding their production and looking for two Process Engineers to join their growing team. The ideal candidates are technically proficient, effective problem solvers, and have the desire and ability to have an array of duties/responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be eager to get their hands dirty working with manufacturing equipment and plant personnel at all levels.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Offer technical support to manufacturing unit and provide daily troubleshooting
• Continuously identify areas of improvement and implement changes
• Analyze current processes and provide written reports to recommend improvements  
• Contribution to Capital Projects during conception, installation, and start-up
• Ensure safely and timely completion of quality products

As a Process Engineer, job requirements consist of:

• BS in ChemE or ME
• 2+ years experience in manufacturing setting; chemicals or food preferred
• Experience with batch and/or continuous processes
• Experience with identifying process improvements and involvement with capital projects
• Familiarity with continuous improvements/lean manufacturing/Six Sigma
• Must have comprehensive computer skills
