This is an excellent opportunity for a Chemical Engineer who is early career to get good in-plant, hands-on engineering experience. This person will work closely with operators to ensure product is produced efficiently, which will include day to day troubleshooting and identifying areas of improvement. The process includes many unit operations with reactions taking place. This is a fast paced facility nestled in the laid-back south. Fresh graduates with internship / co-op experience are welcome to apply!
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Day to day operations support and troubleshooting
- Process improvements to increase safety, production, and quality
- Project development
- Ensure safety is a top priority
- Support Process Safety Management - participate in Process Safety Hazard Analysis
Salary Range: $70,000/year for fresh grads but will go higher based on experience

Job Requirements
As a Process Engineer requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- BS in Chemical Engineering preferred, but possibly a Mechanical Engineer
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in a process/production engineering role out of chemical manufacturing
- Ties to the area / region are strongly desired
