Our client is a well-established supplier of chemical intermediates. They are currently seeking a hands-on Process-Project Engineer to support their plant near Bourbonnais, IL. This engineer will focus on identifying continuous improvement opportunities. This person will monitor plant operations and take the lead on and manage projects. This is a very visible role within the manufacturing site with a very clear path into operations management. 

Salary Range: $110,000 - $135,000 + bonus

Job Requirements

This position requires a degree in chemical engineering. NO OTHER DEGREES WILL BE CONSIDERED. It also requires at least 8 years of post-graduate experience working in a PSM-regulated chemical plant. Experience in both batch and continuous processes is ideal. Must have prior experience identifying, implementing, and managing continuous improvement projects.
