PSM Engineer/Chemical Engineer/Process Engineer/Production Engineer/Chemicals

Our client is a chemical manufacturer in the Chicago area. They are looking for a Process Safety Engineer.

As a Process Safety Engineer, job responsibilities include the following:

Responsible for oversight of the site PSM programs and initiatives
Evaluate Process Safety incidents and provide corrective measures as needed
Support compliance of all company, local, and state process safety regulations
Lead Process Hazard Analyses as needed
Be the site PSM expert and help implement PSM initiatives and advise engineering departments accordingly
Create, implement, and maintain all Process Safety Knowledge, Management and Audit Programs/Systems

As a Process Safety Engineer, job requirements consist of:

BS in Engineering, ChemE is strongly preferred
3+ years of experience as a Process/Production Engineer in chemical manufacturing plant
Must have experience in a PSM regulated facility
Experience with all 14 elements of PSM a plus
