Process Safety Engineer
Job Description
Our client is producer of specialty chemical products used in different industries. They are in search of Process Safety Engineer for their facility outside of San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire for process safety.
As a Process Safety Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Ensure compliance of all company, local, state, and federal PSM and RMP regulations
- Develop and maintain PSM programs, initiatives, and activities
- Facilitate and lead PHAs, MOCs, KPIs, and Root Cause Investigations
- Lead site incident investigations and create corrective action plans
- Create and implement process safety training programs
- Provide technical expertise to ensure continuous improvements to safety performance
Salary Range: $135,000/year - $140,000/year

Job Requirements
As a Process Safety Engineer job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- BS in Chemical Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in a PSM-regulated facility
- Familiarity with all 14 elements of PSM
- Previous experience with HAZOPs and/or PHAs
