Our client is a global leader in specialty grade products used in multiple different industries. They are in search of a Production Engineer to add to their team at their plant in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate can work cross-functionally with all levels of the organization as well as independently.
As a Production Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Support designated production units
- Daily troubleshooting and firefighting
- Ensure safety and efficiency of employees and processes
- Identify areas for process improvements
- Track production progress and keep database up-to-date
Salary Range: $75,000/year - $100,000/year

Job Requirements
As a Production Engineer job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- BS in Chemical Engineering
- 1+ years of in-plant manufacturing experience (out of chemicals, food, or pharmaceuticals)
- Experience in daily troubleshooting and identifying areas of improvements
- Previous experience managing small capital projects
