Our client is a global leader in specialty grade products used in multiple different industries. They are in search of a Production Engineer to add to their team at their plant in Chicago, IL. This engineer will work closely with the plant manager to be a part of running the business and operations.

As a Production Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Support designated production units
  • Daily troubleshooting and firefighting
  • Ensure safety and efficiency of employees and processes
  • Oversee safety training for new employees
  • Identify areas for process improvements
  • Track production progress and keep database up-to-date

Salary Range: $85,000 - $93,000

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision

Job Requirements

As a Production Engineer job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • BS in Chemical Engineering
  • 3+ years of in-plant manufacturing experience (out of chemicals, food, or pharmaceuticals)

  • Previous experience managing small capital projects ($100k)
  • Ability to work autonomously
