Our client is a global leader in specialty grade products used in multiple different industries. They are in search of a Production Engineer to add to their team at their plant in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate can work cross-functionally with all levels of the organization as well as independently.

As a Production Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Support designated production units
  • Ensure safety and efficiency of employees and processes
  • Identify manufacturing processes for improvements
  • Track production progress

Salary Range: $105,000/year - $110,000/year

Job Requirements

As a Production Engineer job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • BS in Chemical Engineering
  • 3+ years of in-plant manufacturing experience (out of chemicals, food, or pharmaceuticals)
  • Experience utilizing Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies
  • Experience managing small capital projects
  • Familiarity with flow diagrams and P&IDs
