Our client is a producer of agricultural products that are sold in over 2,000 retail outlets worldwide. They are currently seeking a Production Engineer to add to their team at their coastal North Carolina manufacturing facility. This facility is 50 miles from Greenville, NC. This facility offers ample room for advancement.
As a Production Engineer job responsibilities consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- Ensure compliance of federal, state, and local EHS regulations and permits
- Lead PSM compliance in assigned unit
- Identify areas for cost savings and process improvements
- Participate in day-to-day troubleshooting
Salary Range: $80,000/year - $105,000/year + bonus

Job Requirements
As a Production Engineer job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- BS Chemical Engineering
- 2+ years of experience out of chemical manufacturing or pulp and paper
- Familiarity with elements of Process Safety Management (PSM)
- Experience with day-to-day operations and troubleshooting
- Previous experience managing safety, capital, and/or improvement projects
