Our client is a global producer of specialty chemical products and a world leader in the production of polymers. They currently seek a Production Engineer for their manufacturing facility in the greater Houston area. 

As a Production Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Direct and coordinate activities over the entire production area
• Provide continuously improvements in quality, safety, productivity, and operations
• Ensure productivity goals are being achieved according to site expectations
• Implement and maintain a strong safety culture at the facility and adhere to PSM guidelines and regulations

Salary Range: $100,000/year - $105,000/year

As a Production Engineer job requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:

• BS in Chemical Engineering - may consider Mechanical Engineer with twin screw extrusion experience 
• 3+ years of experience as a Process/Production Engineer in a chemical, specialty chemical, or petrochemical facility 
• Previous experience in a PSM regulated facility
• Strong record of process optimization and process improvements
