Our client company is global leader within the chemicals and performance materials industries. They have more than twenty manufacturing plants within the continental United States and are currently seeking a Production Engineer to be based at a manufacturing plant in the greater Los Angeles, CA area. This person will be responsible for daily production operations, process improvements, and working closely with operators. It is a growth position that can lead to larger opportunities at any of their many facilities across the country.

Salary Range: $115,000/year - $120,000/year

This position requires a degree in chemical engineering. NO OTHER DEGREES WILL BE CONSIDERED. It also requires a minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience in a refinery or PSM-regulated chemical manufacturing plant. Hands-on, day-to-day manufacturing support experience is also required. This includes but is not limited to firefighting/troubleshooting, process improvements, process optimization, root cause analysis, and process safety management. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
