Our client is a global leader in chemical manufacturing. They are currently looking for a Production Manager to be based at their facility roughly 55 miles from Iowa City, IA. This position is a great opportunity for someone with informal leadership experience looking to move into an official leadership role!
As a Production Manager job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Lead and develop team of direct and indirect reports
- Ensure compliance of all company, local, state, and federal EHS policies and regulations
- Be a part of day-to-day operations and maintenance needs
- Assist with the development of long-term site strategies
- Identify areas for cost savings and safety improvements
Salary Range: $110,000/year - $130,000/year + 15% yearly bonus

Job Requirements
As a Production Manager job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- BS in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another relevant degree
- 5+ years of experience in a chemical manufacturing setting
- Some form of previous leadership experience is required
- Previous continuous improvement experience is ideal
