Project Engineer/Chemical Engineer/Mechanical Engineer/Engineering/Chemical Manufacturing/Chemicals/Project Management/CAPEX/HAZOPs/KPIs/PSM/Manufacturing/Process Engineer/Hybrid Engineer
Our client is a global chemical manufacturer. They have an opening in their Engineering group for a Project Engineer to be based in the suburbs of Chicago with the added flexibility of hybrid work. The ideal candidate must have previous industry experience as both a process engineer and a project engineer.
As a Project Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Prepare and manage project documentation, estimates, schedules, etc.
- Plan and coordinate optimization activities and process development
- Manage projects from conception to implementation
- Adhere to safety guidelines, standards, and expectations locally, federally, and company wide
- Work cross functionally to coordinate project work
Salary Range: $90,000 - $95,000 + bonus

- BS in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- 1+ years of experience in chemical or related industry
