Our client is a global supplier of specialty chemicals and a leader in refining. They currently seek a hands-on chemical engineer for a Project Engineer position at their facility just outside of Youngstown, OH. The ideal candidate will have experience with continuous chemical processes and strong interpersonal skills.

As a Project Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Define, evaluate, and execute site capital projects for performance improvement
• Create and manage project bids, budgets, and schedules for multiple projects, each at various stages
• Responsible for selection of supplies/services needed for capital projects
• Monitor project progress to ensure on time and on budget completion
• Provide technical assessments and engineering support as needed
• Promote positive safety behaviors and issue permits

As a Project Engineer job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

• BS Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or other relevant technical degree
• 2+ years of experience working as a Project Engineer in a chemical plant or refinery
• Must have experience managing projects from conception to completion
• Previous experience with continuous chemical processes 
• Experience in a PSM regulated facility is preferred
