Project Manager/Chemical Engineer/Mechanical Engineer/Manufacturing

As a Project Manager, job responsibilities include the following:

  • This Project Manager will be a part of the Corporate engineering group seated at corporate headquarters supporting 8 domestic facilities
  • This Project Manager will work with several groups, including R&D and the Process Engineers to develop processes and set up systems to move new products from the lab to scale-up to full manufacturing.
  • This Project Manager will have responsibility for the scoping, estimating, and justification of projects, and then managing the budget. Most projects will be in the $250K - $7M range, with some in the $250M range.
  • Travel will be 25% - 30%; some months will have no travel, then other months they may be gone for 1-2 weeks.

As a Project Manager, job requirements consist of:

  • BS in Chemical Engineering
  • 8-15+ years of total experience with significant project management experience
  • Must have manufacturing experience (chemical, food, or pharma)
  • MBA would be a plus
  • PSM experience would be a plus

Prior to joining our chemical engineering division, I recruited for CPS. I was our internal recruiter, or you might know it as Talent Acquisition. While in that role, I introduced our business model to candidates, as well as screened for qualifications. One comment I always received from my candidates was they felt their interview  with me was more of a conversation. 

I so genuinely believe in the opportunity that exists at CPS for recruiter candidates that I realized I, too, really wanted to develop a full desk in recruiting too. 

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time my family.
