Quality Manager

The Quality Manager would be dedicated to one specific account and would be responsible for the following:

  • Maintain uniform Quality Standards with other company facilities (10%)
  • Communicate and oversee the implementation of operational and quality standards to ensure compliance with all customer, governmental and company specifications and policies in quality functional areas (10%)
  • Serve as Technical Liaison to Operations Departments (5%)
  • Provide effective management and direction to assigned staff; including recruiting and selection of employees, assigning work, training and development, performance evaluation, and building of a motivated, effective team to ensure that organizational goals for diversity, career development, succession, performance management and employee involvement are met (20%)
  • Establish and maintain strong Supplier Development / Maintenance Program for company (10%)
  • Communicate accurate, thorough, and timely information regarding quality or quality- related information to appropriate personnel. Analyze data, draw appropriate conclusions and distribute professional reports to Management and to customers as necessary (20%)
  • Establish meaningful interface with customers, vendors and trade organizations to enhance company’s visibility and reputation in the industry and to keep abreast of current technical information (10%)
  • Oversee the auditing, evaluation and analysis of quality policies and procedures to ensure compliance in all company facilities (10%)
  • Review and analyze data and information to present reports in a professional and useful format to the Senior Management (5%)

Requirements:

  • BS degree in Food Science, Chemistry, and Biological Sciences or related area from an accredited college or university
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience in liquid food-manufacturing environment, at least 5 of which is in Quality management
