Job Description

 Our client is looking for an experienced Regional EHS Manager to oversee multiple facilities. This position is remote based, but candidates must reside in California. This position requires roughly 50% travel.

As the EHS Manager job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, projects, and policies
  • Create and lead site trainings to ensure compliance with all company, federal, state, and local regulations
  • Continuously improve EHS policies, procedures, equipment, working conditions through inspections, observations, and audits
  • Manage EHS documentation, records, and reporting
  • Lead site incident investigations, provide corrective actions, document and track progress

Job Requirements

As the EHS Manager job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Sciences, Change Management, or other relevant field
  • Minimum 7 years of EHS Management experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
  • Certification in a professional EHS discipline
  • Strong understanding of California compliance regulations
  • Continuous growing knowledge of federal, state, local, and company EHS regulations and requirements
