Job Description

Responsibilities for the Reliability Engineer include: 

  • Working to identify root causes of fixed equipment failures and developing plans to improve reliability 
  • Troubleshooting fixed equipment such as pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and bolted joints 
  • Developing repair procedures  
  • Acting as technical support for reliability driven capital projects 

Job Requirements

Requirements for the Reliability Engineer include: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 
  • At least 5 years of related experience 
  • Understanding of design codes and standards including ASME Section I, ASME Section VIII, ASME B311, API 510, API 570, and API 571 preferred 
  • Experience within a heavy industrial facility preferred
