Job Description

This position is 100% remote. The location was added so the post would show on job boards.


This opportunity requires advanced knowledge of plan design and compliance for small and large 401k plans.


The consultant will work for a well established, well respected TPA that has been in business for 40+ years. The company has a team of plan administrators who handle day to day consulting with clients about things like compliance test results, and day to day administration issues. The plan administrators also do the hands on testing and reporting. Plans are large filers and small filers. The consultant will consult with sponsors about issues that are too complex for the plan administrators to consult on. The consultant will not have an assigned caseload. Plans are all types of DC plans--Safe Harbor, New Comparability, ESOP, etc. Contact with clients will be email, phone, and video conference. There will be no in person meetings with clients.







Job Requirements

--10+ years DC plan experience

--Past experience working as a plan administrator at a TPA

--Experience consulting on complex issues for DC plan sponsors

--ASPPA designations like ERPA or CPC are a plus
