Retirement Plan External Wholesaler
This National Insurance organization is looking to bring in an External Wholesaler to service the (Pacific NW including WA, OR, ID and AK) or (Midwest including MN, IA and MO). This individual should have 10 years of retirement plan sales experience within the territory ideally selling through a broker network. They will be assisted by an Internal Wholesaler who will primarily be responsible for setting appointments and preparing RFPs for potential clients. The ideal person will have a track record of sales in the small plan market (typically under $10 million in assets). This organization has extremely competitive fees, utilizes the most advanced industry technology and pays top end commissions.
Compensation: $75,000 to $90,000 base (typical starting base is $80,000) plus a progressive commission structure that starts over 50 basis points to the first goal marker and then increases by 20 basis points after every goal thereafter.
Total compensation: $125,000 to $200,000 first year average
- Clean and active FINRA Series 6 and 63 and Life Licenses
- Past experience in retirement plan sales (ideally past small plan wholesaling experience)
- Excellent Retirement Plan knowledge, a track record of sales accomplishments and accolades a plus
