Job Description

Our growing business is looking for a skilled problem solver to join our team as a Sales Development Manager. This individual will be an innovative “outside the box” thinker tasked to sell the full line of our products. You will join a team of two other Sales Managers reporting to the VP Sales and Marketing responsible for driving results, focusing on both new business development along with current customer growth and satisfaction. Territory concentration for this Sales Development Manager will be primarily the Eastern US and will travel approximately 35%. Our current management team has diverse backgrounds focused on continuous improvement in all areas of our business. 

  • Sell full line of products
  • Establish strategic partnerships with direct customers, as well as with distributors, and equipment manufacturers in the printable textiles market segment
  • Utilize prospecting tools and consultative sales approach in identifying new prospective customers while strengthening and expanding sales revenue with existing customers
  • Respond to customer inquiries, ensure customer satisfaction, and enhance client relationships
  • Obtain and prepare 3-6 month forecast for customer accounts
  • Meet or exceed sales revenue and gross profit targets
  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline of opportunities
  • Generate new prospects and new customers and/or new business
  • Utilize trade shows, textile events, and related associations for networking and identifying new prospects

Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or higher. Business preferred
  • 3-5 years related job experience preferably within textile industry
  • Progressive sales experience helpful
  • Knowledge of Aurora’s products preferred
  • Expert sales negotiating and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite of programs
  • Attention to detail, critical thinking, and time management skills
  • ISO 9001/ISO 14001 knowledge helpful
  • CRM software (HubSpot) knowledge is helpful
  • Ability to travel 35% average by car and plane, with maximum of 50% travel
  • Location based in the eastern or Midwestern US
