Senior Account Executive – East Coast – Homebased
Under the direction of the SVP Sales & Market Development; this role is responsible for achieving revenue and project growth targets by building relationships with prospective and existing customers. The role involves responding to inquiries, managing existing customer relationships, presenting product or service solutions to customers, managing projects in CRM, and closing sales. This position is ideal for individuals who are self-motivated, enjoy interacting with customers, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Manage and grow existing customers by retaining base business and generating new business through matching and innovation projects, by building strong relationships with customers, and by understanding customer needs and offering solutions and support.
- Activate vetted potential customers from company’s lead generation methods and from your own personal outreach.
- Maintain a high level of scheduled customer engagements throughout the year, both in-person and virtual against engagement targets.
- Stay current on company’s product and solution offerings through self-training and customer sponsored training.
- Effectively communicate with customers via phone, video and/or e-mail.
- Conduct virtual product and solution presentations with customers.
- Handle customer objections and negotiate to close sales.
- Develop and execute key account plans for select strategic customers.
- Work closely with company cross functional teams to ensure customer needs are understood and support is provided.
- Build and manage New Business project opportunities in Salesforce.com.
- Work with company Pricing Team to provide customer price quotations.
- Maintain Salesforce.com with all appropriate information including call reports, accounts, contacts, projects, forecasts, commercialization and price quotations.
- Provide input on annual sales budget process.
- Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.

Salary
$150,000 - $180,000

Technical Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 5 years of industry-related Sales experience in CPG / Retail Frozen Dessert preferred
Interpersonal Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively with company cross functional teams and customers.
- Strong organizational skills and abilities.
- Ability to work independently and within teams.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as project briefs, customer communications, commercial agreements.
- Ability to analyze and interpret commercial reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM System (Salesforce.com).
- Ability to prioritize effectively.

This is a remote based role within an East regional territory and within one hour of a commercial airport. Consistent overnight travel required to effectively engage with customers at their facilities and industry events.
