Job Description
Our client is a global plastics and chemical manufacturer of products used in multiple different industries. They are in search of a Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer with a strong track record of improving processes and productivity.
Continuous Improvement Engineer/Chemical Engineer/Mechanical Engineer/Engineering/Chemical Manufacturing/Manufacturing/Chemicals/Resins/Plastics/Six Sigma/Six Sigma Black Belt/Lean Manufacturing/Engineering/Continuous Improvement
As a Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Identify, plan, and manage various improvement projects
- Be a part of site Root Cause Analysis
- Assist in the development of continuous improvement strategies
- Utilize Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing to continuously improve processes
- Mentor more junior engineers in Six Sigma and Lean methodologies

Job Requirements
As a Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- 8+ years of in-plant chemical manufacturing experience
- Experience with Six Sigma (Black Belt preferred) and/or Lean Manufacturing
- Statistical Analysis experience
