Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Development Engineer to join a leading manufacturer near Naperville, IL. Ideal candidates have R&D and vehicle handling testing.

Responsibilities for the Senior Development Engineer include:

·         Benchmarking, data acquisition, and testing analysis to support new product designs and modeling validation

·         Leading test projects

·         Developing and acquiring new test fixtures and equipment

·         Planning and executing all aspects of testing including structural fatigue testing, experimental model analysis, field measurements and more

·         Establishes and evaluates tests for suspension systems and components

Job Requirements

Requirements for the Senior Development Engineer include:

·         Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, Masters in Mechanical Engineering preferred

·         R&D experience

·         Strong understanding of vehicle testing, finite element structural analysis, fatigue analysis, and vehicle handling analysis

·         Servo Hydraulic test equipment and testing  

 
 ·         Proven project management experience

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
