Job Description


This position can be located ANYWHERE in the U.S.

  • Manage a caseload of ESOP plans and be responsible for full plan administration. 
  • Duties include:
    • Send annual administration packet each month and follow up until data is received.
    • Code census data and review census verification.
    • Asset reconciliation/trust accounting.
    • Calculate maximum contributions and check annual limitations.
    • Prepare instructions for Data Processing to run allocations on the in-house proprietary system.
    • File extensions for tax forms as needed.
    • Preparation of tax forms (including all schedules) Summary Annual Report and invoice.
    • Prepare instructions for Data Processing to process distribution packets.
    • Consult with clients and/or auditors regarding plan provisions.
    • Assist clients with IRS and DOL audits.
    • Identify problems/issues that need to be addressed by the Legal Department.
    • Prepare major portions of Form 5310 for terminating plans.
    • Review 1099 forms before sending to clients.
