Job Description

Our client is a leader in specialty polymer products used in multiple different industries. They currently seek a Senior Process Engineer to join their operations team in the Chicago suburbs.

Senior Process Engineer/Process Engineer/Chemical Engineer/Chemical Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement Engineer/PSM/Production Engineer/Chemical Engineering/Chemicals/Project Engineer/Project Management/PSM/Chemical Plant/DCS/Polymer Manufacturing/Polymers/Coatings/Adhesives 

As a Senior Process Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Offer technical knowledge to contribute to process/product development  
  • Work with operators to troubleshoot and improve processes
  • Support automation and data systems 
  • Ensure compliance of EHS regulatory requirements
  • Recognize and lead opportunities for improvement projects

 Salary Range: $100,000/year - $125,000/year

Job Requirements

As a Senior Process Engineer job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • BS in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • 6+ years of experience in a process/production role out of chemical manufacturing
  • Previous project experience
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies 
  • Experience in a PSM-regulated facility is a plus
  • Any previous DCS experience is a plus
