Senior Process Engineer/Chemical Engineer/Engineering/Manufacturing/Chemicals/Production Engineer/PSM/Chemical Manufacturing/Pharmaceuticals
Our client is a global producer of specialty ingredients and additives for multiple industries. They are looking to add a Senior Process Engineer at their facility just outside of Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting day-to-day operations, identifying process improvements, and developing P&IDs.
As a Senior Process Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Support day to day operations and troubleshooting in the plant
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and process optimization
- Participate in the improvement of process control systems
- Assist with new product qualifications/implementation
- Adhere to all site safety standards and practices / PSM regulated chemical plant

Job Requirements
As a Senior Process Engineer job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- BS in Chemical Engineering, no other degrees will be considered
- 5+ years of post-graduate chemical experience as a Process/Production Engineer in a chemical manufacturing facility
- Experience developing P&IDs
- Experience with process optimization and continuous improvement
- Experience with OSHA PSM
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing methodologies
