A Chinese based organization is looking to build a laboratory here in the United States.  This will be the first technical hire in the Silicone Microcellular Foams area of their business.

Requirements:

  • Silicon Polymer Chemist
  • Significant experience with product development in the area of silicon based polymers
  • Experience with microcellular foams (Silicon-based)
  • A contractual/consulting arrangement preferred
  • Education: PhD preferred but not a must.  (Relevant experience is the key)
  • Location:   Partial telecommuting a possibility
  • Travel: China as needed (every few months, less than one per quarter)
  • Formulation experience preferred, with the belief that senior individuals with significant new product development have had exposure to both. At the very least they would need to know if a synthetic effort is needed for a given product development target
