Software Engineer - Java
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing domain-optimized data structures
- Participate in the design, architecture and implementation of our systems
- Eagerness to take ownership of system from design through implementation
Key Skills:
- 2+ years of hands on Java Development experience
- Familiarity with Linux environments
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages a plus (especially Python)
You should possess a background in several of the following:
- TCP stack optimization
- Multi-threaded Development
- High-transaction environment
- Low level performance / cache optimization / profiling

I try to remain as active as possible and enjoy all things "sports". You can find me at Soldier Field for most Bears games and will never say no to a good chicken wing.
