Sr. Manager, Manufacturing Program Management

The Sr. Manager, Manufacturing Program Management will support company operations by working closely with manufacturing partners.  This individual will work closely with internal and external functional groups including Global Supply Chain, Research and Development and Quality Assurance.  He/She will be responsible for ensuring company POs are scheduled, produced and packaged by required due dates to meet internal inventory requirements.  This individual will assist in managing and improving performance of company and our partners through oversight and management of Key Performance Indicators including, but not limited to Delivery Performance, Yield Loss, CAPAs, Audit Performance and Inventory Accuracy.

This position is an individual contributor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assure Finished Goods POs are scheduled, produced and packaged by required due dates following company processes, procedures, and quality requirements
  • Facilitate communications between company functional areas and Manufacturing Facilities to meet manufacturing needs
  • Collaborate with company contract manufacturers to assure that performance metrics including, but not limited to PO Adherence and cycle count results are being met
  • Monitors and supports quality systems through Quality Walks and adherence to company QAP
  • Identify, propose, and implement cost savings projects such as reducing material losses, reducing labor per unit, and optimizing working capital
  • Provide information and data as needed to company functional areas and leadership
  • Assist in qualifying new Manufacturing Facilities
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Technical Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) from a 4-year accredited college or university in a related field

Experience:

  • 8-12 years

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • 5+ years working in Consumer Goods Manufacturing Environment
  • Supply Chain, Supplement Manufacturing, Industrial, or Process Engineering preferred
  • Good understanding of ERP/MRP systems (Oracle preferred)
  • Lean Manufacturing Background (training & execution)
  • Good understanding of statistics and data interpretation
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel (power user), Access and Word
  • Must be exceptionally detail-oriented, and able to see the big picture
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible team player who is looking to thrive in a fast-growing and often-times uncertain environment
