Sr. HR Generalist - Manufacturing
Job Description
- Serve as a link between management and associates by handling questions, interpreting and administering policies, and helping resolve work-related problems.
- Perform difficult staffing duties, including dealing with understaffing, refereeing disputes, assisting in terminating associates, and administering disciplinary procedures.
- Plan and conduct new associate orientation.
- Monitor and implement applicable human resource federal and state requirements including FMLA & pay practices, maintaining records.
- Identify staff vacancies and recruit, interview and select applicants.
- Manage full lifecycle recruiting process (consult with hiring managers to develop a search strategy, source and recruit top-notch candidates, candidate management).
- Determine and utilize key sources to engage passive and active candidates (direct sourcing, associations, social media, etc.) for current and anticipated vacancies.
- Gather, enter and update data from change notices into HRIS (Oracle), assemble and compile data into reports for headcount and workers compensation as well as ad-hoc reporting, and compensation surveys.

- Experience in HR/Recruiting
- Ability to work with employees at all levels
- Must be able to handle difficult conversations
- Interest in taking on new responsibilities/climbing the ladder down the road
- Degree in HR a bonus, but not required
- Strong skills in Excel a bonus, not required
