Process Engineer/Chemical Engineer/Engineering/Manufacturing/Chemicals/Pharmaceuticals/Food&Bev/Technical Process Engineer

Our client is a global leader in specialty grade products used in multiple different industries. They are in search of a Technical Process Engineer to add to their team at their plant just outside of Trenton, NJ. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working cross-functionally with the ability to give presentations as needed.

As a Process Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Manage manufacturing processes to scale up new products  
  • Identify, analyze, and test manufacturing processes for improvements and optimization
  • Work cross-functionally to develop and test new projects, products, and processes
  • Develop and implement company safety procedures  

Salary Range: $95,000/year - $100,000/year

Job Requirements

As a Process Engineer job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • BS in Chemical Engineering preferred; may consider other engineering degrees or relevant science degrees with a strong background in process manufacturing
  • 3+ years of in-plant manufacturing experience (out of chemicals, food, or pharmaceuticals)
  • Experience with batch and/or continuous manufacturing
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Full-scale manufacturing experience is a must
  • Ability to travel as needed (25%)
