Job Description
Our client is a global plastics and chemical manufacturer of products used in multiple different industries. They are in search of a Unit Manager with strong leadership skills that can effectively lead, coach, and mentor young engineer through the company’s current expansion.
Unit Manager/Process Engineer/Chemical Engineer/VCM/Engineering/Chemical Manufacturing/Supervision/Manufacturing/Petrochemicals/Resins/Vinyl Chloride Monomers/Chemicals/Plastics
As a Unit Manager job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Directly manage unit’s operations
- Identify and implement unit manufacturing and maintenance plans
- Evaluate and employ performance optimization opportunities and SOPs
- Create and monitor capital and operating budgets
- Ensure company procedures, policies, and rules are followed

Job Requirements
As a Unit Manager job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
- BS in Chemical Engineering
- 10+ years of in-plant manufacturing experience; preferably petrochemicals
- 5+ years of supervisory experience
- Experience in a PSM regulated facility
