Key Responsibilities

Accounting - Audit Senior and Senior Audit Manager

Responsible for providing high quality audit, review and compilation services including financial statement preparation in a timely manner that meets or exceeds client expectations; developing an understanding of the client's business; anticipating and addressing client concerns; keeping lines of communication open with staff and clients; supervising engagement teams; keeping abreast of latest developments as they affect GAAP and other technical areas.

• Direct, monitor and execute the daily accounting functions of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and inventory accounting in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Help lead the QuickBooks Desktop (QBD) & QuickBooks Online (QBO) support team for the CAS team and clients
• Develop and implement best practices in accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Prepare/review financial statements and reporting package, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
• Investigate variances and trends
• Perform/orchestrate month end closings
• Construct and monitor reliable control systems
• Knowledge of basic legal concepts/contracts
• Monthly bank reporting/credit compliance
• Coordinate financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements
• Oversee the HR function

TAX MANAGER CPA TAX MANAGER

Will prepare and review Tax returns for corporations, pass-through entities, individuals.  Will oversee and direct the work of others.  CPA required.  Partnership track available.

Our tax managers will work on a variety of tax returns including individual, estate, trust, corporate and partnership returns for federal, state and local jurisdictions, and for a variety of industries. We also value subject matter experts who wish to focus on their own chosen interests. Managers review the work of staff accountants and participate in one on one group training for the tax department. This positions requires a thorough knowledge of tax in a public accounting setting.

Our tax managers also serve as lead providers of proactive tax planning, compliance, review and research services for a diverse group of clients in one or more industries. The tax manager will manage or supervise all phases of client engagements, may have primary client responsibility and, in some cases, may be assigned to manager larger scale projects. He/she may be called upon to deliver presentations and to write articles and to provide leadership, supervision, training and performance feedback to senior and staff level accountants.
